Directions to the Oak Road Location DIRECTIONS TO PORT ORCHARD 1020 Oak Road BLAST Arena From Tacoma: Take Why 16 toward Bremerton; Exit 20, SE Burley Olalla Road, left at the bottom of the ramp; Go .4 mi. to Bethel Burley Road SE; at the intersection, turn left; In .2 mi., turn right on SE Oak Road. Trial site is on the left, .4 miles. Turn left at the 1020 mailbox, and immediately right on the gravel driveway to the trial site. From Bremerton, Silverdale, or Kingston: Follow WA Hwy 3 South to Hwy 16 East; Take Exit 20, SE Burley Olalla Road, and turn right at the bottom of the ramp; Follow the directions above to 1020 SE Oak Road. There will be another fun match on August 20th at the Oak Road BLAST arena! Regular classes, Chances then jumpers and Weavers. These fun matches are a great way to get your dog(s) into different locations and on different equipment. You can train in the ring using food and/or treats! Plus we always have a great time! One more quick reminder. If you are hoping to attend the BLAST ASCA trial (again, at the Oak Road BLAST fields)--get your entries to Ginny Partridge!! Premiums are available on my web site ( www.blastagility.com ). If you have any questions, let me know. There are two jumpers classes, two Regular agility classes and two Gamblers classes each day. The trial is Friday, August 5th and Saturday, August 6th. NO weaves in jumpers! The courses tend to be a lot of fun! All dogs are welcome (ALL breeds and mixed breeds as well as Aussies) If you aren't ready to enter your dog in a trial, come and help us! You can learn how a trial is run and even get a front row seat by setting jump bars at the trial! If you want to come and help and learn and watch dogs run, let me know. From Tacoma: Take Highway 16 West (toward Bremerton). Exit at the Purdy/Key Center Exit. At the Chevron Station (second stoplight) turn right (East)—this will be 144 th Street NW. Follow 144 th to a “T” in the road (approximately 2-3 miles). Turn left onto Crescent Valley Drive NW and proceed approximately 1.5 miles to 160 th Street NW (big red farmhouse on your right). Turn right on 160 th , go for about .6 miles and at the “T” in the road bear right on 14 th Avenue NW. Go about a mile (past the curve in the road sign, past the intersection with Crescent Lake Drive NW). Turn right at the second driveway on your right after the Crescent Lake Drive NW intersection. You will see the arena back in the trees. The name/address on the mailbox is: Ross 14724 14 th Avenue NW (Gig Harbor, WA 98332-9702) From Bremerton: Take Highway 16 toward Tacoma (Eastbound) and exit at the Purdy/Key Center off ramp. | Championship results are in! | As most of you know the NADAC nationals have come to a close with exciting news of Susan's girls taking first place again! Harley takes a first place in the 2007 NADAC Nationals in the 20". Lacey takes first place in the 16" Veterans, and Chevy takes 3rd place in the Pre Elite. Here is the site for new BLAST t-shirts. I will be making more logos in dark and light backgrounds for everyone. I can also set up an order with a direct ink print. From cafe press they are hot press, and are getting much better in the final print! I have my own shop, so if you want a bulk order I can lower the price if you email me before you set up your order.
